File License

Short version: use our files for anything you make by hand, sell up to 500 physical items per design, and please don’t share or resell the files themselves.

You can

• Use any file for personal projects, gifts, classrooms, churches and community events
• Sell handmade physical items made with a file (shirts, mugs, signs, cards, decals, cake toppers and so on), up to 500 finished items per design
• Resize, recolor, combine and edit the designs for your projects
• Share photos of what you made; a link back to the file’s page is always appreciated

You can’t

• Share, sell, re-upload or give away the digital files (SVG, DXF, PNG), edited or unedited, including in bundles, groups, drives or print-on-demand design libraries
• Use the designs in print-on-demand listings where the buyer receives or chooses the digital artwork
• Claim the designs as your own original artwork or register them as a trademark
• Sell more than 500 physical items per design without asking us first

Fonts

Lettering in our files comes from free fonts released under the SIL Open Font License (Luckiest Guy under the Apache License 2.0), all of which allow use in products you sell, and is already converted to outlines, so you don’t need to install any font to use a file.

No warranty

Files are provided as-is, for free. We check every file before publishing (see how we make and check files), but we can’t be responsible for materials, machines or projects. Test on a scrap first when you try something new.
