About Clean Cut SVG

Clean Cut SVG is a small, independent studio that makes free cut files for Cricut, Silhouette and other cutting machines, plus plain-English guides for using them.

We started it for one reason: too many free files look fine on screen and then fall apart on the mat. Letters that overlap and cut twice. A script word with a hairline tail that tears when you weed it. A “shirt” design that opens at two inches wide. You only find out after you’ve wasted vinyl.

What makes our files different

Every design on this site is drawn in code and checked by code before it’s published. Each color is one welded, closed path. Every file opens at the real size it was designed for, and our checker looks at that exact size for strokes too thin to cut, pieces too small to weed and gaps too narrow to pick out. If a design fails, we redesign it. We don’t publish it and hope. You can read the details in how we make and check our files.

Using the files

Everything here is free for personal use, and you can sell up to 500 handmade physical items per design. Please don’t share or resell the digital files themselves; link people to the page instead. The full terms are on the license page.
